Ingredients
225g butter
¼ cup sugar
1 egg
1½ cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Cold stewed apple
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add egg and cream well again
- Add plain flour & baking powder sifted together
- Roll out
- Use half pastry to line a greased sandwich tin
- Fill with apple and cover with remaining pastry
- Bake at 180° until golden brown
