Ingredients
750g minced steak
½ Cup Sultanas
1 Large Potato, sliced
⅟₄ Chopped Almonds
1 Large Cooking Apple, sliced
Salt
1 large Onion, sliced
1 Teaspoon Sugar
2 Tablespoons Oil
½ Cup Apricot Jam
2 Teaspoons Curry Powder
4 Bananas
½ Teaspoon Turmeric
1 Egg, beaten
½ Cup Vinegar
½ Cup Milk
Directions
- Brown meat, potato, apple and onion in hot oil, add curry powder and turmeric and stir well
- Add vinegar, cover, and simmer very gently about 30 mins or until cooked
- Add sultanas, almonds, salt and sugar
- Stir well and put in shallow casserole dish
- Spread jam thinly over top
- Cut bananas in halves lengthwise and place on jam
- Mix egg and milk and bake at 180° for about 30 mins or until browned
